How to Make FREE - Unlimited Long Distance Calling

  • VoIP is the new way to place and receive phone calls. VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol and is a technical way of saying “using the Internet for making telephone calls.” VoIP technology converts regular (or analog) phone calls into data (or digital) and zips them through your high-speed Internet connection.

  • Over your high-speed Internet connection, a VoIP phone service provider can combine domestic US local and long distance calls for one low monthly rate. Most VOIP phone service providers even offer unlimited local and long distance calling, plus great features like Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail, “Locate Me”, “Do Not Disturb”, Call Conferencing, and many more features—free of charge.

Voice Over IP (VOIP) - What is VOIP?

  • You must choose and subscribe to a VoIP phone service plan available from the designated VoIP phone service provider(s) and have a high-speed Internet connection. VoIP phone service plans, rates and features may vary depending on the VoIP phone service provider selected.

  • Note that an electrical power outage or a broadband provider outage will prevent operation of the VoIP phone, including for emergency purposes (e.g. calling 911).

Unlimited Local & Long Distance - $19.95/mo.     You get the following:

  • Unlimited calling to anywhere in the US, including HI, AK, USVI and PR.

  • Unlimited calling to US, Canada, and Western Europe* FREE unlimited calling to other In-Network Lingo subscribers

  • Local Number Portability so you can keep your existing phone number

  • Online account management makes it easy to manage your settings, voicemail and more through the web

  • Select a phone number from over 220 US area codes (International and additional US phone numbers are available for an additional monthly fee).

  • To get started, all you need is a high-speed Internet connection and a D-Link VOIP Gateway. All included with your service and free after rebates and special incentives.

How VOIP Works

Making and Receiving Calls

Placing a call is exactly the same as with any other regular phone. Just pick up the handset and dial the regular telephone number. It's that simple. You don't have to be technical or computer savvy to use VoIP. Receiving calls also works the same. The phone will ring just like a regular phone. With VoIP, just pick up the phone and start talking!

In more technical terms, your D-Link Broadband VoIP Router splits your high-speed broadband connection and converts your analog signal to digital. The digital signal is sent through your modem and across the Internet. Your Internet connection will work as it did before you installed the D-Link Broadband VoIP Router, sending emails and other Web data to your personal computer as normal.

When someone calls you, they dial your regular telephone number. Behind the scenes, your number looks similar to an e-mail address. This number instructs the call to travel over the Internet to the D-Link Broadband VoIP Router, your phone rings, and all you have to do is pick up and answer it.

What Do I Need?

All you need is an easy-to-connect D-Link Broadband VoIP Router, a broadband Internet connection, a regular telephone, and VoIP phone service plan from one of the designated VoIP service providers.

A high-speed Internet connection (also known as Broadband) is the connection to your home that provides fast Internet access. These Internet connections can be either DSL or Cable from as Internet Service Providers such as Verizon DSL, Optimum Online, Road Runner, or any number of other high-speed Internet service providers in your area.

Easy Installation

Plug your D-Link Broadband VoIP Router into your high speed Cable or DSL Internet modem. Then take any regular telephone and plug it into the D-Link Broadband VoIP Router. It’s that easy. VoIP phone service is simple to use and easy to install – you can be up and running within minutes.
